Palaia the land of truffles!
Few people know that Palaia is one of the most important places for truffles. The climate, soil, vegetation of this part of Tuscany makes it ideal truffle land. Particularly the white truffle, which can be harvested from September to December.
Find your own truffle.
From September till November you can book a tour to accompany a “tartufai” (truffle hunter) and his dogs to hunt truffles. The tour will be completed by a lunch or dinner where you will be able to cook your own truffle lunch or dinner.
